People who visit us are not only amongst the ‘regular’ people. We have people coming along who passed away ten years ago, one year, thirty years. We have visitors from countries around the world. Sometimes these are people who are stuck, lost their life suddenly by accident or being killed in a war. A lot of them come back to say hi, to visit and relax.
There are also those who bring history.
And when I say history, I mean hundreds of years back, sometimes even thousands.
They have their own story about how they died but most of the time we do not even speak about it. For them it is a painful memory, so we do not ask. They are free to tell us whatever they want but most of the spirits who visit us do not talk about their passing. It is personal, full of grief, you just do not ask for something like that.
All these people coming along give us an insight in history as well.
If someone says: “Edwardian time,” then we know this person is from somewhere between 1901 to 1914. That was a while ago. It is a period in history just before the first world war started.
We have soldiers coming along from World War 2: British, Canadian, and American. And we will put flowers down at the memorial for them when the time comes. The first time we were putting flowers down at the memorial close by, most of them finally accepted the light. And sometimes they are back just to say hi.
We learned from them that it really was a mess in the surrounding area during that time.
Most of them did not get a burial. Killed in action and disappeared under rubble. One time a soldier said to us: “Dig here.” We were walking on asphalt.
Lots of history has just vanished.
It was a few months back when one of our friends from Egypt was coming along to drink fruit tea. He likes to visit, brought a friend and now we have a bunch of them.
When I asked him about what Egypt looked like in his time, he told us it was a rich a vibrant country full of forests and rivers. It looked amazing.
There was a desert but not as far stretched as it is now.
A few weeks later I came across an article that said they found signs of an old riverbed not far from the pyramids.
Must tell one thing though, people are digging and digging in Egypt.
They do not like it at all.
Leave history alone, leave the graves alone.
I will call this one John. He came suddenly and only once but I think if I would like to speak with him, I think I can.
John came in an old wheelchair made from wood. No legs and he had special army clothes on him. And my wife was like: “Hi! How are you? Come in.” And looked puzzled at me.
We started to talk and learned that he was from the war in the US, north-south.
He was wearing a blue suit and a hat.
I really want to speak to him again to see what happened in that period. The way he passed is clear.

We started to talk through an app. We almost do not use it anymore since we can communicate with spirits on our own.
Through the app we learned that someone was coming along with a special name. We looked it up and it was old Latin. Names that were used during the Roman Empire.
He stated that he started building a village in the surrounding area.
When there was completely nothing, he started a settlement. I know romans were here in earlier times. Traces have been found from old pottery, coins to some kind of pole that was used as a signpost.
And there was a person coming along stating that he came from the last period from the Holy Roman Empire, former Germany so to speak. Not really but still.
That is ages ago too!
With all these people coming along we have learned a lot about history.
To every historian I would say, if you really want to know the truth, speak with a medium and find out what spirits can tell you!
Just make sure the medium is a real one. There are lots of people using this to just make money from it.
